Melbourne, June 2022: Leading payments fintech Openpay has recently announced a partnership with Brand Collective, Australia’s leading house of brands across a portfolio of iconic Australian footwear and apparel brands.
Under the Brand Collective deal, Openpay will be available online and in-store across their 10 national brands including Shoes & Sox, Hush Puppies, Clarks and Superdry.
Last year Openpay’s partnership with leading in-store point of sale platform Apparel 21, and more recently with eCommerce platform BigCommerce, supported the addition of Openpay as a payment option across Brand Collective group. These aggregator integrations were designed to enable merchants using the Apparel 21 or BigCommerce platforms to seamlessly switch Openpay on, delivering a full omni-channel customer experience.
Openpay is now available at the checkout across these exciting new brands, giving consumers more choice and the option to choose how they would like to pay with 2, 3 & 4 month plans.
Sonia Nixon, Head of Retail at Openpay, said: “Our team are excited to offer Brand Collective to our customers. A host of quality, household brands that appeal to our ‘all Australian’ customer base, kids, men, and women. In this sense partnering with Brand Collective is a huge milestone for Openpay as the deal aligns strongly with our vision of providing broad market access to flexible and longer plans that enable consumers to better manage their cashflow.
It’s also a deal that brings to bear our model of working with aggregator partners, to make integrating Openpay truly seamless for merchants of any size.”
Brent England, General Manager IT & Digital at Brand Collective, said: “We are excited to be partnering with Openpay and to be able to offer this flexible payment solution to our customers, giving them the choice to pay in a way that works for them and allowing consumers to spread the cost of their purchases over time.
We look forward to strengthening this partnership with the Openpay team going forward.”
Alongside this major partnership Openpay has also become available across Howards Storage World, St Frock and City Beach.
To date, Openpay has integrated with a broad range of in-store and online shopping platforms, which many Australian brands are utilising. This includes Apparel 21, Quest, Til, BigCommerce, Prestashop, Shopify and Pronto. With easy activation on these platforms, Openpay seeks to bring convenience to brands looking to offer their customers with more flexible ways of making purchases and spreading the total cost over more time.
